The holidays arrived early at Total Quality Logistics when Santa and Mrs. Claus dropped by the annual Pancakes with Santa celebration at Cincinnati HQ Dec. 6 and shared festive cheer with all.
More than 1,400 TQL’ers and their families enjoyed flapjacks, festivities and photos throughout the event.
The fun started outside with a petting zoo, while inside, the cafeteria was transformed into a lively gingerbread-themed village.
Celebrating TQL families
TQL hosts nearly 300 employee appreciation events each year, but Pancakes with Santa is one of four signature events created to celebrate employees and their families. Alongside Fall Fest, Easter Eggstravaganza and Summer Picnic, the event invites families to experience TQL’s culture and community firsthand.
Scrumptious food, tons of fun
Guests enjoyed a hearty breakfast featuring pancakes with chocolate chip or blueberry toppings, Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, biscuits and gravy, milk, chocolate milk, orange juice, coffee and hot chocolate.
Kids enjoyed several games, including a Gingerbread Matching Challenge, Gingers Slap Card and Gingerbread Land, a festive twist on Candy Land. In Crack the Cookie Code, young sleuths assembled six cookie pieces to recreate a full cookie tray.
When they weren’t signing Mrs. Claus’s Cookie Wall, young TQL’ers visited Chef Blue’s station for a hands-on craft inspired by TQL’s mascot. Each participant received an apron to color and a special sugar-cookie recipe from Mrs. Claus.
Holiday magic for all
TQL Cares added to the spirit of giving by raising funds for A Kid Again, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit supporting families with children facing life-threatening conditions. TQL Cares hosted a Plinko game and donated $5,000 to the organization after the event.
Dancers kept the holiday vibes fresh as families snapped pictures with gingerbread people, Santa and Mrs. Claus. Balloon artists crafted swords and other creations, and the TQL Gear Shop and Rise N Grind offered event-day exclusives and personalized beverages.
With food, fun, philanthropy and plenty of holiday magic, this year’s Pancakes with Santa had something for everyone.
