- Fall Fest recognized employees’ hard work and connected staff from TQL’s 60+ offices.
TQL transformed its parking lot into a carnival-style Fall Fest celebration Oct. 25, treating over 1,500 employees and their families to rides, games, good food and good times.
A petting zoo? Check. A hayride? Check. A Ferris wheel? Check.
The fall festival at Cincinnati HQ had something for everyone, from face painting for kids to a gaming tent for adults. More than 50 TQL volunteers made the day special by giving their time to ensure everyone had a great experience.
Fall Fest is one of four TQL signature events created to celebrate employees and their families. Pancakes with Santa, Easter Eggstravaganza and the Summer Picnic also recognize employees’ time and dedication while giving their loved ones a chance to experience the company firsthand. In total, TQL hosts more than 300 employee appreciation events each year.
This year’s Fall Fest was dedicated to the employees who keep TQL running 24/7/365, especially the second- and third-shift Logistics Support Team. Their commitment ensures TQL service never stops, even on holidays.
Good times for all
It’s not every day bunnies, ducks, miniature horses, goats, chickens and llamas appear on HQ’s lawn, but animal lovers of all ages delighted in a petting zoo brought in just for Fall Fest.
Adventure-seekers dashed to the Ferris wheel, the Frankenstein Bounce House, Giant Fun Slide and a Spooky Fun Obstacle Course. Guests seeking more hands-on excitement tried their luck at Plinko, Lollipop Pull, Pumpkin Chunkin’ and Dunk-a-Duck.
Guests 16+ tested their aim at axe throwing while many 21+ played poker, blackjack, roulette and a Boozy Ring Toss in the adult gaming tent.
A fine day for a feast
TQL treated employees and their families to a Fall Fest spread of free food. Guests feasted on pulled pork and chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, white cheddar mac and cheese, corn, coleslaw, cornbread, and pizza from a LaRosa’s food truck.
Sweet treats included kettle corn, s’mores trail mix, pumpkin spice cookies, funnel cakes and fried Oreos. Beverages ranged from soft drinks and Capri Suns to beer, seltzer and cider for those 21+.
TQL’ers from many of our 60+ offices nationwide posed for photos, mingled with company mascot Blue and strolled through a classic car show on a day filled with autumn activities and memory-making.
