Whole 'Lott' Of TQL Love At Fresh Summit

Not far from Mickey and the happiest place on earth, Total Quality Logistics might have been the busiest, most fun place on earth last week.

TQL was all over the annual Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit trade show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

Not only was TQL an exhibitor, demonstrating a commitment to its roots in the fresh produce business, the fast-moving freight brokerage firm from Cincinnati hosted big bash for fellow fresh foodies from around the country.

Hundreds of customers and friends attended the TQL party at NBC Sports Grill and Brew at Universal CityWalk Oct. 15.

Four-time Super Bowl champ and NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott was the featured guest, signing autographs, chatting and snapping photos with attendees all night long.

There also was a photo booth, a "hit and run" caricature artist and a prize wheel, at which Sarah Beebe won the top prize - an Apple Watch from TQL.

“Thank you so much for a great evening and for the Apple Watch,” she said. “I just finished setting it up and I’m amazed at how awesome it is. It’s going to be very helpful, especially during travel and when away from the office. I am very grateful.”

Back at the show, some of our people connected with a few of the most iconic brands in the fresh produce business – including Green Giant’s Sprout and Chiquita’s Miss Chiquita Banana.

TQL was born out of a desire to better serve the produce industry. For almost 20 years the company has taken that commitment to superior service and built the second-largest freight brokerage firm in the country.

We were understandably proud to spend some time at PMA. (Check out some of the award-winning exhibitors and a full list of the 1,100-plus companies on hand right here.)

And undeniably proud to be a 24/7/365 company serving the fresh produce industry and many, many more. Have a load you need to move or want to become a TQL carrier? We’d love to work with you.
