TQL honors professional drivers during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week

The TQL Foundation donates $75,000 to nonprofits that support carriers and their families

Cincinnati (Sept. 14, 2025) — Total Quality Logistics (TQL), the second-largest freight brokerage in North America and one of the largest global third-party logistics firms is celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. The TQL Foundation is donating $75,000 to honor the carriers and their families that keep America moving.  

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, held this year from Sept. 14-20, is an annual tribute to the professional drivers who deliver freight safely, securely and on time, and the families that support them.   

“Truck drivers answer our calls 24/7/365, providing an irreplaceable service,” TQL President Kerry Byrne said. “We thank them for all the work they do to keep our supply chain moving.” 

The TQL Foundation donated $50,000 to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund and $25,000 to Truckers Against Trafficking in honor of the work they do for our industry. 

The St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund assists carriers and their families when an injury or illness prevents a driver from working. The nonprofit provides diverse services and programs, including free health and wellness programs that benefit professional drivers and the trucking industry.

(NTDAW). Since 2021, TQL’s commitment and contributions have helped SCF provide vital assistance to professional drivers and their families when it’s needed most,” St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund Executive Director Courtney Nieman said. 
 
TAT stands committed to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of key industries to combat human trafficking.  

“We are grateful for our partnership with Total Quality Logistics (TQL) and the incredible work they do to educate and equip their employees in the fight against human trafficking. 

Their commitment to sharing TAT’s training and resources across their workforce demonstrates true leadership in the industry and helps expand our reach,” Brandy Belton, Director of Mobile Exhibits, Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) said. 

In celebration of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, TQL is also holding is a giveaway for carriers and displaying an “American Pride: Delivered by Truck Drivers” banner on the side of its Cincinnati headquarters facing Interstate 275.
