Total Quality Logistics Donates Over $116,000 to the Fight Against Cancer
TQL Annual Cancer Awareness Month supports long-time partner, the American Cancer Society
Cincinnati, OH (November 1, 2021) — Total Quality Logistics (TQL), one of the largest freight brokerage and third-party logistics firms in North America, rallied to fight cancer during the company’s annual Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October, funds were raised through “Donate for a Cure”, an employee fundraiser, and “Loads for a Cure”, a fundraiser in which every truckload of goods moved by TQL during the week of 10/11-10/17 garnered a donation. The result was a record-breaking gift of $116,439 to the American Cancer Society. Since 2010, TQL has raised over $595,000 for the fight against the disease.
“Everyone is affected by cancer,” said Kerry Byrne, TQL President. “It is an unfortunate fact that unites us all and motivates us at TQL to find ways to celebrate those that have beaten it, support those who are fighting and honor those that have lost their battle. This year, we are proud to have passed the milestone of giving over $500,000 to the cause.”
Throughout Cancer Awareness Month, TQL’s corporate headquarters was illuminated in the ribbon colors of all cancers to show support and spread awareness for the disease. At the end of the month, TQL hosted a “Wipe Out Cancer” event where a check was presented to the American Cancer Society.

These donations help us save lives from all types of cancer through early detection and prevention, research and patient support.”
