TQL Families Celebrate Easter

Do you know what 4,200 donuts looks like? We do. We gave away that many at the annual TQL Easter Eggstravaganza this year.

The socially distanced drive-thru still looked a little different than our typical family events. More than 350 TQL’ers wound their way through the parking lot of our Union Township headquarters on Saturday, March 27 and were greeted with food and entertainment from local businesses. Attractions included a dozen gourmet donuts from Marcella’s Doughnuts & Bakery; Honey Hill Farms drive-by zoo featuring camels, donkeys, chickens, bunnies and sheep; Cincinnati Circus balloon artists, ball walkers and hula hoop dancers; a TQL’s Kids Club custom coloring book and, of course, socially distanced photos with the Easter Bunny.

It wouldn’t be a TQL event without finding a way to give back to the community and Easter was no exception. TQL kids voted and chose what snacks, toys and goodies to include in care packages for families at the Ronald McDonald House. Based on the votes, we donated over 80 totes, complete with toys, games, window decals and a gift card. The custom bags helped families decorate their rooms for spring and bring a bit of normalcy to everyday life for kids going through treatment.

We are counting down the days until our typical in-person family events can come back. Until then, we won’t stop going out of our way to support our employees, their families and our communities.
