As Memorial Day approaches, TQL gears up for its annual fund raising event to support the troops, now called Hauls for Heroes.

A portion of the money received from every load TQL arranges the week of May 11-17 will be donated to the Yellow Ribbon Support Center. TQL began its Memorial Day fundraising effort in 2009 and to date it has raised more than $72,000.

The Yellow Ribbon Support Center, started by parents of a Greater Cincinnati soldier captured and killed in Iraq, sends care packages to soldiers serving in harm's way.

“Hauls for Heroes now contributes more than $20,000 annually and supports thousands of U.S. troops deployed around the world. As TQL grows, we will increasingly honor veterans and their families and show our support to all men and women who serve our country every day,” said President Kerry Byrne.

The funds raised from this year's Hauls for Heroes program will be presented to representatives from the Yellow Ribbon Support Center on May 22, 2015 at TQL corporate headquarters.
