Bigger, Better, Best
Apparently, it’s more than just the sunshine.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal selected TQL Tampa as finalist in its 2015 Best Places to Work competition. Team Tampa was one of 15 businesses so honored in the category for companies with 100 or more employees.
Overall, 60 companies in four size designations earned finalist honors. TQL fell into the largest category.
"Over 400 companies took the survey," said Tarryn Cashmere of TBBJ. "We only chose top scores for 15 in each category."
For Team Tampa, 2015 marks the fifth consecutive selection as a BPTW finalist.
Finalists are chosen based on survey results. According to the TBJJ story, “The employee survey measures 10 key engagement categories focusing on items including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits.
“Responses from each question of each completed survey are compiled and evaluated. Companies are ranked and finalists are chosen in each size category according to their overall composite scores.”
An awards ceremony announcing final scores and ranking is set for April 23.
