Avocados, Pistachios, And Interviews - Oh My

Two people reviewing papers

The United Fresh 2015 trade show is under way and the exhibition floor opened today. Buyers, sellers, growers and service providers come together for three days to talk shop. The guacamole is good, the nuts fresh and the conversations informative.

TQL was pleased to welcome Lara Sowinski, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics Magazine, who stopped by to learn more about Carrier Dashboard 4.1, the first mobile app in the industry with voice-search capability.

As a service provider (about 30 percent of the loads we move are for the food and beverage industry), we’re here to learn what our customers want - aside from lower rates. We know rates are a concern, but as one of our top customers told us yesterday, “In the best partnerships it’s not about price, it’s about value – and those frequently are different things.”

Value is having a transportation provider that understands your business and is there for you 24/7/365 so you can sleep at night. Value is having a transportation provider that is just as concerned about what’s next for the industry as you are. Value is staying at the forefront of technology to keep up with the onslaught of ever-changing rules and regulations. Value is having a transportation provider that wants to hear what you have to say – good or bad – because that’s how you make it better.

If you’re in Chicago for the show, stop by booth 2106 and say hello to the TQL team. We want to say thanks, learn about your needs, and be a value for your company.
