TQL Celebrates National Donut Day

Person in homer costume, and a person holding an inflatable doughnut

Mmmm… donuts.

Folks at Total Quality Logistics like them as much as the people of Springfield. So much so that the patron saint of donuts - Homer Simpson himself - appeared to share the frosted, sprinkled gospel of goodness June 5, National Donut Day.

While Homer handed out countless dozens at the Ivy Pointe headquarters in Cincinnati, up the road TQL Columbus spelled out a traditional O-H-I-O with a ring of O-shaped donuts on either end. Very meta.

TQL Chicago – pumped up after the Blackhawks took game one of the Stanley Cup finals a couple nights earlier – turned their Donut Day into a competition. The first-ever Donut Day Bozo Bucket Challenge had reps from each STL team pitching donut holes for a chance at free coffee.

TQL Detroit made it a competition, too, playing flip cup after downing the milk they used to chase their donuts. (It was milk, right? Those Solo cups aren’t transparent. We’ll have to take their word for it.)
