TQL’s employee wellness initiatives earned us a spot on the 2025 Healthiest Employers of Ohio

How Does TQL Support Wellness in the Workplace?
TQL HQ’s has been designed to create an environment where people thrive.

• Basketball courts, pickleball courts and miles of outdoor walking trails
• 24/7 fitness center
• 11 nursing mother rooms
• Full-service cafeteria and coffee shop serving Starbucks products
• Three terraces and two large patios
• Multiple game tables for ping pong and foosball
• Multi-sport simulator for golf, football and soccer on a video screen using advanced technology.

We offer a wide range of resources to support our employees in all key areas of health at TQL.

Physical Activity
In addition to our physical health resources at our HQ campus, one standout measure of our employee engagement is the growth of our intramural program. We supported 183 TQL intramural teams and 1,220 players in 2024. TQL covers 50% of league costs, supporting fitness and team camaraderie.

How do intramural sports contribute to a healthy workplace?
TQL was founded by a group of men who played high school sports together, and this legacy continues through our sponsored employee intramural program. This program offers employees the opportunity to gather after work, blow off steam, enjoy some fun competition and promote a healthy lifestyle. Many of our offices have developed long-standing intramural traditions by participating in leagues annually, building a continued sense of camaraderie and promoting a healthy work-life balance with a focus on physical activity.

Mental Wellbeing
Through a partnership with ComPsych, TQL’s employee wellness program provides resources for behavioral health, mental health, work-life balance, HR administration and more. Employees are eligible for a free financial wellness assessment, five confidential counseling sessions per issue, per year with master level clinicians and guidance on life events like home selling/buying and legal expertise.

Financial Wellness
We proudly offer competitive financial benefits to our employees. TQL partners with Fifth Third Bank to provide a monthly Personal Finance Education webinar covering topics like credit scores, emergency planning and retirement savings. Additional webinars, including our 401K administrator’s tutorials about retirement saving for beginners and budgeting, are available to all TQL’ers. 
  
Community Impact and Volunteerism
We embrace community health through TQL Cares, our corporate social responsibility arm that champions team volunteer events, fundraising and volunteer time off. In 2024, our employees volunteered for over 7,600 hours and helped raise more than $4 million for non-profit organizations.
