Falalala-festivities return for TQL's Pancakes with Santa

Santa and Mrs. Claus returned to TQL for the 13th annual Pancakes with Santa, a holiday celebration for TQL’ers and their families, Dec. 2 at Cincinnati HQ.

More than 1,100 attendees stopped by for a hearty breakfast feast, crafts, games and photos.

TQL’ers sipped drinks from a hot chocolate bar and dined on pancakes, Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, potatoes, biscuit, gravy and drinks.

The movie “Elf” was the inspiration for this year’s theme. iHeartRadio disc jockey JonJon emceed the event dressed as Buddy the Elf, even taking a few loops around the building on a tricycle, while his love interest in the film, Jovie, also attended.

Suzie Snowflake posed with kids and families in complimentary photos and TQL mascot Axle Roads was on hand to greet guests.

Kids were invited to create an Axle ornament at a craft station. Three activity stations – Elf Snowball Fight, Elf Treasure Hunt and Sugar Cookie Decorating – were big hits with kids who took home prizes and sweet treats.

TQL Cares, TQL’s philanthropic program, hosted a Present Toss in which guests tossed balls into presents to win prizes. The event benefited A Kid Again, a charity that provides cost-free and recurring events for children with life-threatening conditions. TQL Cares donated $5,000 to the nonprofit at the event’s end.

Families posed with the Jolly Old Elf and Mrs. Claus and took home photos to remember the holiday fun.
