Easter Looked a Little Different

But was still a “hoppy” time for TQL employees and their families.

TQL has been hosting its Easter Eggstravagaza for 12 consecutive years but this year the event was cancelled, due to COVID-19 and for the safety of our employees and their families. The traditional Saturday morning event includes TQL employees and their families gathering at HQ for breakfast, pictures with the Easter Bunny and other activities including an Easter-themed craft and Easter egg hunt.

As a TQL signature event, it was hard to see it go and know our families wouldn’t get to experience the Easter Bunny this year, so TQL got creative. In a time where drive-thru and restaurant pickups are encouraged to help support local restaurants TQL reached out to Busken, a Cincinnati-based bakery, to purchase hundreds of cookie kits for TQL families.

The Saturday before Easter, Greater Cincinnati area TQL employees cruised through a make-shift drive-thru in HQ’s parking lot to pick up a cookie kit to take home and complete with their families. Each kit included 9 cookies, icing and toppings. While there, kids also got to wave to the Easter Bunny and snag a goodie bag which included stuffed plastic eggs and a roll of toilet paper - all of this without leaving their cars. TQL also created a virtual Easter experience for all employees across their 26 state footprint to enjoy with their families.

Extra kits were delivered to Union Township Police and Fire Departments.
