TQL's Thank A Soldier Campaign Kicks Off May 1

Cincinnati (OH) – Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is making the logistics of saying thank you to U.S. military service members and their families a little easier this month.

The public is invited to visit tql.com from now until May 31 and choose from one of four custom-designed, patriotic thank you cards to send to the troops. Visitors can choose from a selection of pre-written messages thanking a soldier for his or her service or write a personal note. TQL will pay to print and mail the cards. The company sent more than 1,000 cards to soldiers serving in Jordan during last year’s campaign.

“This effort allows us to take time to reflect on the sacrifices that service members and their families make to ensure our freedom. There is no higher calling than service to our nation,” said President Kerry Byrne.

TQL’s Thank A Soldier Campaign is one of many efforts underway to take care of the troops during Military Appreciation Month at TQL:

  • Hauls for Heroes – Military charities receive a portion of every load of freight TQL arranges during the week of May 13-19. Hauls for Heroes has raised more than $187,000 since its inception, and this year’s beneficiaries will once again be the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the United Service Organizations (USO).
  • Tribute Wall – TQL erects a physical tribute wall at its corporate headquarters in Cincinnati where employees can post ribbons in recognition of service members. TQL hosts a virtual tribute wall online where anyone in the community can post a ribbon in honor of a military service member. The public is invited to post tributes at tql.com/heroes.

TQL is the nation's second largest freight brokerage firm and has long been committed to honoring and supporting military service members. TQL has received several awards for its military support including Most Valuable Employer for Military and Military Friendly Employer and is proud to employ hundreds of military veterans and members of the Guard and Reserve. TQL employs more than 5,500 people in 57 offices nationwide. Click here to see what else sets us apart in the industry, or connect with TQL on the web, on Facebook or Twitter @TQLogistics.
