TQL Opening Second Georgia Office in Savannah

Savannah, Ga. – Total Quality Logistics announced its newest sales office today in Savannah, Georgia. The office – located at 8001 Chatham Center Drive, Suite 500, Savannah, Georgia 31405 - is scheduled to open for business in October 17, 2016.

“When TQL first contacted us about their new location, we were eager to get involved,” said Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Chris Carr. “Along with our partners at the Savannah Economic Development Authority, we are excited about the job and investment opportunities that this project will create in the region, and we look forward to supporting TQL as they continue to grow.”

TQL connects customers needing to move truckload freight with quality carriers who have the capacity to move it. Savannah will be TQL’s 56th office nationwide.

“It is a great day when a company like TQL announces that 50 to 75 new jobs are coming to Savannah,” said Savannah Mayor Eddie DeLoach. “On behalf of the city of Savannah, I would like to welcome them and look forward to watching them grow in Savannah.”

The new office will open with a founding team of five current TQL employees and is expected to bring 50 to 75 new jobs to the city over the next three years. It will be Georgia’s second TQL location, following Atlanta which opened in August 2014 and has since grown to nearly 80 employees.

“To have a growing company like TQL choose Savannah for their new location is a significant nod to the quality of the workforce in the area,” said Savannah Economic Development Authority President and CEO Trip Tollison. “These are high-quality, well-paying jobs and will be an asset to our community. We enjoyed working with TQL during the process of selecting Savannah and congratulate them on their new location in our city.”

“Every new city for TQL is another opportunity to provide good jobs in that community and an excellent service experience for our customers,” said Kerry Byrne, TQL President. “We look forward to establishing ourselves in Savannah and further expanding our footprint nationwide.”
