TQL, Paycor and 84.51° Release White Paper Sharing Best Practices for Charitable Giving Among Millennials, Gen Z

(Cincinnati, OH) Oct, 9, 2017 - TQL, Paycor, and 84.51°, three of Cincinnati’s largest private companies, today announced a co-authored white paper titled “The Logistics of Corporate Giving: Six Proven Strategies to Strengthen Millennial and Gen Z Engagement.” The paper – the result of a six-month collaboration between the three companies –  shares best practices as each developed their individual approaches to corporate giving.
In a joint statement, the CEOs of all three companies stated that “for several years, Total Quality Logistics, Paycor and 84.51° have been committed to giving back to our communities, not because research has shown it significantly improves engagement and retention levels, but because we believe it is the right thing to do.”
“While our three companies are different, we are similar in our desire to unleash the passion our young, diverse workforces have for giving back,” said Ken Oaks, Total Quality Logistics CEO.  “When we made slight adjustments to our approach, we saw overall impact increase, and we are excited to share those findings with the hope of helping our communities even more,” he added.
Key points of the paper include six strategies for rethinking corporate giving, as well as actions companies of any size in any industry can take to dramatically increase employee engagement through its philanthropic activities.
“Core to our culture, is our desire to give back. Everyone in our company has such positive energy and passion around what we can do to help others in our community,” noted Stuart Aitken, CEO, 84.51°.
“Making a difference is foundational to who we are as a company,” said Bob Coughlin, Paycor CEO.  “We are honored to be highlighted alongside other companies who share a common goal of taking care of our clients, our employees and the community,” he added.
