TQL Supports Drivers and Their Families During National Truck Driver Appreciation Week
TQL Foundation pledges $100,000 to organizations supporting professional drivers and their familiesCincinnati, Ohio (Sept. 11, 2026) — Total Quality Logistics (TQL), the #1 full-truckload provider in North America, is recognizing National Truck Driver Appreciation Week by making a $100,000 donation to organizations that support professional drivers and their families.
The TQL Foundation has pledged $75,000 to St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund and $25,000 to Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) in honor of the Sept. 13–19 observance.
“Carriers and drivers are essential to everything we do, and we’re grateful for the commitment they bring to the road every day,” TQL CEO Kerry Byrne said. “We want our support to go beyond a week of recognition. By supporting great organizations in St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund and Truckers Against Trafficking, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people who keep the supply chain moving.”
St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund assists drivers and their families when an injury or illness prevents them from working. The nonprofit provides a range of services and programs, including free health and wellness programs for professional drivers.
“TQL’s support allows us to plan for the future and continue building programs that meet the needs of professional drivers and their families year-round,” said Diane Hutsell, St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund Interim Director. “This sustained support means we can be there for drivers not just during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, but when an unexpected illness, injury or other hardship puts their livelihood at risk.”
TAT is committed to educating, equipping, empowering and mobilizing members of key industries to combat human trafficking.
“The trucking industry has an important role to play in the fight against human trafficking, and partnerships like ours with TQL help make that possible,” said Brandy Belton, TAT’s Director of Mobile Exhibits. “We appreciate TQL’s continued commitment to raising awareness and giving its employees the knowledge and tools to recognize and respond to trafficking.”
TQL is recognizing professional drivers throughout National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. A banner reading “American Pride: Delivered by Truck Drivers” will be displayed on the side of TQL’s Cincinnati headquarters facing Interstate 275. TQL is also inviting carriers to participate in a Facebook contest celebrating the pets that keep them company on the road.
