Because cancer affects all of us. October is Cancer Awareness Month at TQL.
October is Cancer Awareness Month at TQL and we are raising funds for the American Cancer Society.
For over 100 years, American Cancer Society has fought to cure cancer, investing $410 million in cancer research in 2018 alone. Over the last decade, TQL has focused our efforts on breast cancer and raised more than $311,000 to fight for a cure. Building on this success, this year we are expanding our efforts to be inclusive of all cancer research, because cancer affects us all.
“As TQL has grown, so has the number of our team members, our customers, and our carriers that are affected by a variety of cancers,” said TQL President, Kerry Byrne.
Join us as we dedicate the month of October to raising funds and awareness to help find a cure for ALL cancers.
10.1 – 10.11 | Pull for a Cure Fundraising Competition
Employees will raise money for American Cancer Society. Top fundraising teams will win a chance to compete in a semi-truck pull at TQL HQ office in Cincinnati, OH.
10.14 – 10.20 | Loads for a Cure
Book a load during this week, and TQL will donate a portion to the American Cancer Society.
10.29 | Pull for a Cure, Semi-Truck Pull
TQL teams will go head-to-head in a semi-truck pull at TQL HQ. The event will include team members from across our company competing to pull a truck in the fastest time.
