TQL Cares Delivers This Season

56 TQL teams across the nation signed up to give back to their communities this Christmas during the annual TQL Cares for the Holidays campaign. Employees planned 65 service projects during the campaign, which kicked off in November and continued through December 23.

Employees worked on projects benefiting 32 different causes, from collecting food for the homeless and toys for children in need, to donating household items to veterans.  In total, nearly 8,800 pounds of food was donated to food banks nationwide by TQL employees. The TQL Cares campaign also provided 995 gifts for children, and team volunteer grants totaled $3,500.

The campaign gave teams the chance to grow partnerships within their communities. Team Charleston, West Virginia chose to volunteer their time at the Ronald McDonald House of West Virginia, a nonprofit they have partnered with for two years. The Charleston team decorated the house for the holidays and also held a clothing drive. “I love that we can support nonprofits we are passionate about and bring holiday cheer to those in need,” said TQL Charity Captain, Lindsay W.

A team in Tampa went the extra mile to ensure the kids of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay had a holiday worth remembering. They raised funds to host a party for the kids of Big Brothers Big Sisters in December, where the kids enjoyed presents, games, and much more.
