TQL, BBBS Partner Again for Commercial

Three Men Read Through A Script For A Video

Once again, TQL was ready for its close up.

The crew from local production company JayTV was on site at TQL’s corporate headquarters Jan. 27 to shoot a TQL-sponsored commercial for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati.

The 30-second spot airs Feb. 5, Super Sunday, and will appear locally on Fox affiliate WXIX. This is the second year in a row TQL and BBBS have partnered to produce an ad for the big game.

The commercial features TQL Vice President of Sales Nathan Knipper – a one-time Little Brother – and several employees who volunteer as Bigs. Of course, the real superstars in the commercial are the children – all of whom are currently on a waiting list to be matched with a Big Brother or Sister.

“Having TQL as a sponsor two years in a row is not only generous, but is also a great win for everyone,” said Kathy List, BBBS President and CEO. “We’re excited to highlight the need to match more children with more volunteers and appreciate TQL’s support of our mission to create more life-changing friendships.”

Other cameras were on site, too, as Fox 19’s Jordan Vilines reported live during the morning newscast, interviewing corporate communications manager Heather M. and corporate giving specialist Corey D. while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the commercial shoot.

The first Super Bowl advertisement TQL sponsored got excellent results. Within 48 hours of airing, last year’s commercial yielded as many requests for information on how to become a Big as BBBS normally received in three months.
