TQL Debuts Super Bowl Commercial At Patio Party

Three People Holding A Large TQL Check And Celebrating

TQL said yes.

Because it did, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati will get some unprecedented exposure.

The company’s annual Super Bowl patio party Feb. 4 featured the debut of the TQL-sponsored Super Bowl 50 commercial supporting BBBS.

The commercial will get its broadcast premiere at about 8:10 p.m. during the Broncos-Panthers game, but it’s already blowing up in traditional and social media. The goal is to raise awareness and attract new mentors to the program.

Local 12 – who will carry the big game Feb. 7 – was on hand to report on the commercial and talk to one of its stars, VP of Sales Nathan Knipper.

“When I look back on my professional and personal development, I still reflect back on those early mentoring and guiding conversations that we had even way back then,” he said.

(Co-workers have been having some fun with the usually shy Nathan’s new celebrity, hanging a star on his office door and supplying him with a bowl of green-only M&M candies.)

TQL also made a check presentation of $45,000 to BBBS; the company and our employees have contributed more than $100,000 to BBBS since the partnership started over 10 years ago.

BBBS CEO Kathy List loves the decade-long relationship between TQL and her organization.

Past the commercial excitement, the patio party featured wings, beer and a Family Feud-style football trivia tournament hosted by VP of Human Resources Ralph Lee. Team Kochar worked through an 18-team bracket to take the title, knocking off Team McKercher in the finals.
