TQL’s Easter Eggstravaganza an egg-cellent celebration for all

Annual culture event filled with photos, activities for TQL’ers and their families

TQL’s Easter Eggstravaganza returned with gusto April 1 as nearly 1,100 TQL’ers and their families visited Cincinnati headquarters for a hoppin’ good time.

The guest of honor was, of course, the Easter Bunny. But first, guests were greeted by an outdoor petting zoo filled with 20 live animals including a camel.

Children were given Kids’ Club activity bags upon entrance and all guests were ushered into a spring wonderland. The cafeteria was transformed with giant wooden peeps, hanging carrots, pastel pennants, bunny banners and Easter egg lanterns.

The complimentary Easter feast, served by members of TQL’s executive team, was a next-level spread. TQL’ers filled their plates with pancakes, Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, sliced ham, roasted potatoes, fresh fruit and drinks. The make-your-own hot chocolate bar at the TQL Café was a hit.

Although high winds moved most outdoor activities inside, the excitement level remained high with face painters, an April Fools’ Photobooth and a make-your-own Bunny Tail Trail mix station. Balloon artists were scattered throughout the event to create Easter-themed novelties for kids to take with them.

Other activity stations included Design Your Own Flowerpot, which included a packet of soil and seeds to plant at home in honor of Earth Day, and a Peter Cottontail Prize Wheel.

A charitable theme accompanies each Eggstravaganza, and this year TQL Cares hosted a Spring Training Corner for the Joe Nuxhall Foundation Miracle League. The nonprofit provides accessible and inclusive baseball fields and recreational opportunities with a big-league-level gameday environment for athletes with special abilities of all ages.

Guests played a baseball toss game in which donations were made and they won Cracker Jack, cotton candy and baseball cards featuring foundation mascot Joey the Can-Do Kangaroo. By the event’s end, more than 1,000 tosses were made and $5,000 was dedicated to the Joe Nuxhall Foundation Miracle League.

And with that, another successful and festive Easter Eggstravaganza celebrated TQL’ers and their families.
