TQL’s Easter Eggstravaganza a hoppin’ good time

An Ohio Easter celebration wouldn’t be complete without Easter eggs, a petting zoo, the Easter Bunny and of course, snow.

More than 1,100 TQL kids and their families braved last month’s unseasonal weather to visit TQL Headquarters for the first non-drive-through Easter Eggstravaganza since 2019.

The cafeteria was transformed into an Easter wonderland filled with balloons, giant peep cutouts and kid-friendly music. Families enjoyed full American classic breakfasts featuring sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes and waffles with an array of toppings.

The celebration extended to the covered heated patio, where kids mingled with animals in the petting zoo, enjoyed face-painting with colorful Easter designs and sipped hot chocolate. A huge inflatable slide added an exhilarating adventure for those willing to endure the chilly weather.

The TQL Cares Plinko game was a hit for kids who received eggs filled with candy and toys while experiencing the joy of giving. TQL donated funds to one of four non-profits based on players’ Plinko puck landing spots. By the end of the four-hour event, TQL raised $5,000 for Mathew 25: Ministries, Make-A-Wish, Special Olympics and the Free Store Foodbank.

Easter-themed crafts and games like cornhole, pin the tail on the bunny, windchime decorating and foam stickers provided additional indoor entertainment for kids (and parents). There was even a selfie station for families to pose with Easter-themed props and gather for a TQL Family Photo.

The highlight of the day? Professional pictures with the Easter Bunny. By the event’s end, 309 children had their photos taken in an Easter celebration to remember.
