A Weekend to Remember: TQL’s Recruiting Top 20 Event
The first weekend in April, Total Quality Logistics (TQL) hosted the annual Recruiting Top 20 event to celebrate the accomplishments of our company’s top performing recruiters in 2021. Top recruiters and recruiting leadership gathered in Cincinnati to enjoy a weekend together planned by our events team.
TQL’s top recruiters kicked off Friday afternoon with a tour of HQ where our directors and executives welcomed and congratulated them on their successes. The recruiters enjoyed lunch, mingled with one another and received a Recruiting Top 20 branded quarter zip. Later that night, the team embodied TQL’s work-hard, play-hard mentality by cruising downtown on a Cincy Brew Bus Tour. The night consisted of beer tastings at Wooden Cask, Rebel Metal and Rhinegeist Brewery. Wooden Cask severed everyone homestyle-cooked appetizers and gave a behind the scenes tour of their authentic brewery.

Saturday April 2, an awards ceremony brunch was hosted at the Hotel Covington to recognize our top performers. Glasses of mimosas clinked as a delicious breakfast was served; there was no better way to start the day. After brunch, awards were handed out and inspiring speeches were given to commemorate each individual’s accomplishments. To wrap up the weekend everyone attended a soccer match between FC Cincinnati and CF Montréal at TQL Stadium.
One of the abilities that Top 20 Recruiters have in common is their determination to exceed the goals they set for themselves and provide the finest white-glove service for their candidates. The grind never stops, every day they go in the office working harder than they did the last. They continuously bring in new hires while breaking recruiting records year after year. Together, the group brought in over 3,000 new hires this past year alone. TQL has seen exponential growth over the past few years, much of which can be attributed to the resourcefulness of our recruiters. There is no secret to our success, we out work our competition. Carrie H., one of our top recruiters, said “This team is filled with the most driven and motivated people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing; to be recognized among them as a Top 20 recruiter is a career highlight!” Consistency and persistency are how our recruiters get the job done and continue to bring in more new hires each year.
There is no shortage of outstanding recruiters at TQL. Next year, The Top 20 Event will be renamed “The Recruiting Elite” to acknowledge more successful recruiters and invite them to participate in this event that celebrates their accomplishments.
