TQL Shows Its Heart

TQL Building With Hearts Projected On It During Nighttime

Total Quality Logistics has a number of initiatives to help raise awareness and funds during the American Heart Association’s 2016 American Heart Month in February.

Among them, TQL’s Cincinnati headquarters will be lit nightly by red hearts all month to remind the thousands of drivers passing the building every night on I-275 of the importance of maintaining their heart health.

On Feb. 5, TQL employees at headquarters and across the country will wear red clothing for the day as part of National Wear Red Day and the Go Red For Women campaign to help raise awareness for heart disease.

From a financial perspective, TQL will make a $5,000 donation to the Cincinnati chapter of the American Heart Association. In addition, TQL will use the month to assemble teams for the 39th annual Cincinnati Heart Mini running/walking events scheduled for March 13.

Heart Mini events include a 15K, a half marathon, the 5K heart race, 2K kids race, three- and five-mile heart walks and the 1K Steps For Strokes. In 2015, 179 employees registered for Heart Mini events, raising about $8,000 in contributions to go with the $5,000 donated by the company.

TQL is a long-time partner of the American Heart Association, the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular illnesses.
