Louisville Toys for Tots Drive A Huge Success

Many Wrapped Presents In Front Of A Christmas Tree

TQL Louisville’s partnership with Toys for Tots began last year when then-broker Cory D. exercised his connection as a U.S. Marine to support the program.

Cory has since moved on to open the TQL Evansville office, but his former team has remained semper fidelis (Latin for “always faithful,” the Marine Corps motto) to the cause. Louisville collected 187 toys to distribute to children who otherwise would have no Christmas gifts.

“Whether it was a princess tea set, race car, puzzle or football, the best part about what we donated is knowing that they will go to children that will be happy to have them,” said senior national sales recruiter Kevin A. “It was about as successful as last year, which is a good sign that the teams have embraced it.”

Par for the Louisville course.

“We like to try to do things quarterly to give back to the community, and the holidays - especially Christmas - is a good time to get into the spirit of giving,” Kevin said. “I think there is a part in all of us that likes to bring out our inner child by buying a toy we would have loved to have had as a kid.”

TQL Louisville is not alone in its support of Toys for Tots. Team Memphis also had a successful Christmas T4T drive in its office, while Team Pittsburgh helped stuff a bus full of toys.

TQL Cares for the Holidays shines a spotlight on what some of our people and teams around the company and country are doing to make their communities better during this traditional season of giving.
