Big Award Big Deal For Big Company
Glassdoor named TQL a 2016 Employees Choice Award winner Dec. 9. The award is based entirely on employee feedback shared on Glassdoor from November 2014 to November of this year.
And you know what? We’re pretty stoked. As our president said in today’s press release, “it’s satisfying to know we’re on the right track in terms of providing an environment and perks our employees enjoy.”
What kind of perks? Check just a few of them out below.
We gave away a couple of cars and made a $50,000 charitable donation selected by employees when we crossed the $2B threshold in revenue for the first time last December.
Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and a whole mess of superheroes celebrated with TQL families during our signature employee events.
We partied with the Reds in the spring and Andy Dalton in the fall. We had the hysterical Derby Day races and more serious competition in 3-on-3 basketball, tug-o-war and boot camp.
We honored America and those who fought and fight to keep it free. Our Hauls For Heroes drive set a weekly load record around Memorial Day and benefited the Yellow Ribbon Foundation.
While doing pushups to support the Boot Campaign, we raised more than $20,000 for our troops and became Guinness World Record® holders to boot.
We had a record United Way drive and gave away more than a million bucks in charitable gifts throughout the year. Not least among them was the Pinktober campaign, which resulted in dozens of shaved heads and record-setting donations to the American Cancer Society.
And oh - by the way - we did all this while hitting $2B again, moving more than a million loads, opening 11 new offices, expanding into our 20th state and creating about 800 new jobs around the country.
