TQL Rolling With BBS Again

Four Men Holding A Bowling Pin Shaped Trophy At A Bowling Alley

The record went down like a cold drink in the 10th frame.

Total Quality Logistics employees raised $19,987 at its annual Bowl for Kids' Sake event April 19, striking the old record by more than $2,100.

About 140 people on 28 teams jammed Cherry Grove Lanes just a couple miles from TQL headquarters to help Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Funds from BFKS:
- Help recruit new Big Brothers and Big Sisters for the 400-plus children on the waiting list.
- Cover the costs of background checks and insurance, while ensuring trained professionals match children with caring and responsible bigs.
- Offer one-to-one, ongoing professional support for every single match.
- Provide cultural and social activities to enrich opportunities for children in our program.

The 2016 event marked TQL’s 10th straight year of participation. TQL has donated more than $200,000 to BBBS in that span.

Team Turkey Baggers – decked out in bulked-up, cartoon-character neon shirts – led the fundraising charge, donating $10,080 to the cause. They also took the prize for top team score with a 170.25.

Executive assistant Holly H. won the coveted purple pin as best female bowler for her 154 score. David M. rolled a 256 to take top male bowler honors.

The Cincinnati event is just one of several across the country. Team Detroit and Dallas have BFKS nights on the horizon in their cities, too.

Giving back is part of who we are. If you’re interested in being part of a team who likes to help, consider a career at TQL.
