TQL’s 9th Annual Hauls for Heroes Campaign Sets New Record

CINCINNATI (OH) – TQL knows no limits – especially when it comes to giving back to the community.  Today, the organization officially wrapped up its annual Hauls for Heroes campaign with a check presentation to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the United Service Organizations(USO), respectively.

Each year, the Cincinnati-based freight brokerage firm donates one dollar for every load moved during one week in May. This year’s Hauls for Heroes campaign ran May 15 - 21, raising a record-breaking $31,399.

“Our Hauls for Heroes campaign is just one small way we can thank the men and women who have sacrificed their lives in the name of our freedom,” said Gary Carr, Vice President of Sales, who himself served in the Army National Guard from 1983-1990.  “It’s just one of the many things that make me proud to work for TQL,” he added.

Carr presented the DAV and the USO each with a donation of $15,699.50, pushing the Hauls for Heroes cumulative donation total to more than $154,000 since its inception in 2009.
