TQL Memorial Day Fundraiser Back for 7th Year with Broadened Mission

TQL is gearing up for its annual fund raising event to support the troops in which a portion from every load TQL arranges – this year during the week of May 11-17 -- is donated to the Yellow Ribbon Support Center.

The Yellow Ribbon Support Center, started by parents of a Greater Cincinnati area soldier who was captured and killed in Iraq, sends care packages to soldiers serving in harm’s way.

The campaign, now called Hauls for Heroes, has been an annual effort for the company since 2009, raising more than $72,000. TQL formalized the name of the fundraiser this year to reflect the broad impact its Memorial Day effort has had, and in the hopes of expanding its reach in the years to come.

“Hauls for Heroes now contributes more than $20,000 annually and supports thousands of U.S. troops deployed around the world. As TQL grows, we will increasingly honor veterans and their families and show our support to all men and women who serve our country every day,” said President Kerry Byrne.
