TQL Honors Vets, Welcomes Congressman

Total Quality Logistics celebrates Veteran’s Day Nov. 11 with a catered luncheon for all its Cincinnati veteran and active military reserve employees. United States Representative Dr. Brad Wenstrup – a United States Army Lieutenant Colonel and Iraq War veteran who was recently re-elected to a second term in Congress – is expected to be on hand to speak with the TQL vets.

TQL will celebrate its more than 100 local military veteran employees with the noon luncheon at company headquarters, 4289 Ivy Pointe Blvd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45245. TQL satellite offices around the country – including Louisville, Charlotte, Atlanta, Jacksonville and Tampa – will host similar events for military team members.

“We hire veterans because they possess the skills and values we are looking for – an outstanding work ethic, discipline, and the ability to quickly learn new skills,” said TQL Executive Vice President Kerry Byrne.

TQL has a long history of military support. It started a $1 Per Load Memorial Day fundraising campaign in 2009 and has since raised more than $72,000 for the Yellow Ribbon Support Foundation. Most recently, TQL received the Center of America Award for Outstanding Commitment and Leadership Oct. 23 during a ceremony at The Hall of Flags in Washington D.C.
