TQL Donates $16,741 in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) raised $16,741 this year for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Fund through its annual Loads for a Cure campaign.

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, TQL donated $1 for every load it moved during the week of October 21-27 to the fight against Breast Cancer.

“Our goal is to celebrate survivors, honor those who have lost their battle, spread awareness, and raise funds for breast cancer research,” said Kerry Byrne, executive vice president of TQL.

Since 2010, TQL has raised more than $76,000 for cancer research programs through various donations, its Loads for a Cure campaign, and last year’s Great Shave competition, in which teams that raised the most money got to shave their managers’ heads. For the second year in a row, TQL illuminated its corporate headquarters, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, with pink lights throughout the month of October.
