Cincinnati, OH – Total Quality Logistics (TQL), a third party freight brokerage firm headquartered in Union Township, recently held a series of campaigns to strengthen its community relations. By partnering with Paint the Town, Inter Parish Ministries, and Adopt a Highway, TQL employees were visible across town making efforts to better serve the community.
The series of community events kicked off with the Adopt A Highway clean up of I-275 on June 4. Total Quality Logistics has adopted and taken care of the area between mile markers 63 and 65 for the past two years. Employees took an hour at the conclusion of the workday to spend time picking up garbage along TQL’s designated section of the highway, making the roads a better place to travel.
Total Quality Logistics employees continued their efforts by participating in Give Back Cincinnati’s “Paint the Town” initiative. A total of 23 TQL employees volunteered their Saturday to paint a house for a family in need in Price Hill. This is the third year that the company has participated in the day-long event.
To round out the series of events, Total Quality Logistics held a food drive for the Inter Parish Ministries. After partnering with the organization for a successful holiday donation drive, TQL decided to continue to support the efforts of the local food pantry this summer. Inter Parish Ministries provides goods and services for the growing needs of low income families in Hamilton and Clermont counties.
TQL Cares has several more events planned for the upcoming months to continue the tradition of service to the community. Future events are scheduled to benefit the Push for Pencils, a back-to-school drive run by Crayons to Computers that collects basic school supplies to put on shelves at a local free store for classrooms in need, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
