Send a Free Greeting Card to Thank Troops

Cincinnati (OH) – Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is arranging more than just freight shipments this month. It also is arranging for hundreds, maybe thousands, of printed greeting cards to reach deployed soldiers overseas.

As part of the company’s Military Appreciation Month charitable efforts, the public is invited to visit www.tql.com until May 31 and choose from one of four custom-designed, patriotic greeting cards to send to the troops. Visitors can also choose from a selection of pre-written messages thanking a soldier for his or her service or write a personal note. TQL will handle the printing and mailing logistics.

“These men and women put their own lives at risk every day to protect our families and our freedom. While we are proud to continue our financial support of military causes, we wanted to expand the impact with a simple option to personally say thank you to the brave men and women actively serving in our nation’s military forces,” says President Kerry Byrne.

This complements TQL’s primary component of Military Appreciation Month, Hauls for Heroes. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Hauls for Heroes fundraiser, which started back in 2009. A portion of every load of freight TQL arranges during the week of May 14 to 20 will be donated to military charities. Hauls for Heroes has raised more than $154,925 since its inception, and this year’s beneficiaries will once again be the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the United Service Organizations (USO).

Other components of TQL’s Military Appreciation Month efforts include a gift to all TQL employees who are members of the military, a tribute wall and a patriotic light display on the company’s Cincinnati headquarters building, located off I-275 in Union Twp.
