Share your story of becoming successful at TQL.
My journey to success at TQL was a result of a combination of hard work, determination and putting in a lot of extra hours. With the support and guidance of my broker, Yesenia, I gained more experience and demonstrated my value to the team. I quickly realized that success in this field required not only logistical expertise, but also strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations.
What advice would you give to young Latinx and Hispanic professionals who are starting their career?
Put in a lot of effort and have a clear goal in mind. As a Latino, you have the advantage of being bilingual, which can help you connect with a wider range of people. Your unique experiences and perspective can also bring valuable insights to the table. It's important to explore the Mexican market and work towards breaking down stereotypes and cultural barriers.
What motivates/inspires you?
The idea of becoming the best version of myself never ceases to inspire me. It's the thought of reaching my full potential and accomplishing my goals that gives me the drive to work hard and keep learning.
Do you have a TQL mentor?
My mentor, Yesenia, has been instrumental in teaching me the skills I need to excel in my job. Her guidance has been invaluable in developing my abilities to provide exceptional customer service and perform tasks accurately. She has also shown me how to distinguish myself from others by doing things well and making a positive impact. Yesenia also has helped me be proud of my heritage as a Latina woman in the workplace.
