TQL Easter Eggstravaganza serves up holiday egg-citement

Annual celebration filled with family-friendly fun and activities

The Easter Bunny showed TQL’ers and their families why they’re some-bunny special at the annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Cincinnati HQ.

The happy hare joined 1,000 people at the March 16 event, which started outdoors with a petting zoo of furry favorites (including a camel). Kids were invited to decorate TQL’s sidewalks with chalk art before heading inside for the main event.

There, a spring-themed party was underway. Easter décor blanketed the cafeteria, from giant wooden peeps and an oversized bunny rump to hanging carrots. TQL’ers also were treated to a pastel bunny, spring-colored pennants and a balloon arch.

As artists created Easter themed balloon animals for some families, others made a beeline to the complimentary feast.

Members of TQL’s executive team served pancakes and Belgian waffles with chocolate chips, blueberries, whipped cream, butter and syrup. They doled out scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, roasted potatoes, fresh fruit and drinks.

A make-your-own hot chocolate and coffee bar at the TQL Café added to the spring buzz.

Meanwhile, holiday games entertained the young at heart. Kids played Easter Egg Toss for sticker prizes and tried their luck at the Egg Grab & Raffle. They selected three eggs filled with toys or candy and entered a raffle for a chance to win an Easter basket.

At a nearby craft station, kids made keychains with beads of their choosing and a custom Axle Roads charm.

A charitable theme accompanies every Eggstravaganza, and this year TQL Cares hosted a Flower Garden Station on behalf of Inter Parish Ministry (IPM) Food Pantry. At the event’s conclusion, TQL donated $5,000 to IPM Food Pantry in support of its community garden and the fight against food insecurity.

No Eggstravaganza is complete without kids and families posing for photos with the Easter Bunny. They did just that while having a hoppin’ good time.
